The 2022 Scoping Plan for Climate Change needs to go father and
do more to protect California's future.
The state needs to invest more in renewables and
storage. We shouldn't be expanding fossil fuels like
natural gas, and spending millions on unproven technology like
carbon capture. Reforestation, composting and soil
regeneration are proven to reduce greenhouse gas
emissions. Let's fund them instead. We must focus more on
further reducing carbon emissions in transportation and housing.
California needs real change to meet the challenge of climate
change. The steps to make these changes might seen scary, but they
aren't as frighting as climate disaster.
