As a new grandfather with a 4 month old
grandson, I'm more motivated than ever to ensure our future
generations are able to live and thrive on a planet and in a state
that is habitable. I've reviewed the California Air Resources Board
draft plan for California to meet its climate goals and believe
that it is woefully inadequet of what needs to be done in order to
stave off the worst effects of climate change. The draft relies
much to heavily on unproven technology to remove carbon from the
atmosphere rather than reducing the source of the carbon itself and
we need proven methods . . . we don't have time for
experiements. The plan should promote greater investments in
renewable energy and call for carbon neutrality by 2035. Thank
you.
