I am a small farmer in a disadvantaged community and feel that we
should go with staff recommendations to phase out slowly ag burning
and please try to make funds available for grants that will help
the small farmers purchase wood chippers. We are being hit hard
right now in all areas of ag and need all the help we can get. One
thing we did see during the shutdown of the entire Bay Area as our
air looked amazing even though farming continued.
Please work toward a slow and thought-out phase out with adequate
grant money
