Subjectpotential banning of gas-powered equipment
Comment
If the ban takes effect, all of our customers would see higher
costs. I know that humans cannot change the climate; it has always
changed without our influence. Computer models are bogus, because
there is no way to predict heat from the sun, wind currents, and
air pressure. Plants need carbon dioxide for survival.
Battery powered equipment needs lithium and a lot of other natural
resources and energy to build them. These batteries can't be
recycled. This state doesn't even have enough electricity for our
present needs, electricity uses a lot of natural gas, oil and coal.
It is more efficient to just use gas.
Small mowers and blowers can be OK with battery or power cords, but
chain saws and large mowers probably can't. This potential ban is
a very bad idea that won't do anything to "cool" the climate. Even
if it does get warmer, why is the ideal temperature right now?
