| Comment | 2024 is to short of a time frame to ban small gas power equipment and try to replace them with electric or solar power. Two major problems, one is the electric power does not possess the power and diversity yet to replace some of the larger equipment. The second issue that seems to be ignored is the amount of batteries and disposal issues that will now be caused by an enormous amount of batteries that will be flooding the market. We should continue to manufacture low emission engines and maintain new more efficient motors until the electric motors can fully replace existing equipment. 2028 should be a minimum target date. |
