The industry from Manufactures to End Users are not ready for this drastic deadline.  In the Bay Area most of the employees who work for a Commercial Landscape Company 5 days a week, work for themselves on the weekend.  We are not going to be able to pass on the cost of battery equipment estimated at a realistic 300% increase to our customers.  The subsidies are not going to be there forever.  In the end a maintenance worker will lose their weekend job to homeowners who will decide to maintain their property on their own.  Which happens in every economic downturn, which is looming around the corner.  I’d like to know how the electric grid is going to be able to store enough energy to power all the batteries from this equipment to cars, when last I knew California pays Arizona to take the solar energy it cannot store on the current grid. Not to mention what will happen with the abundance of dead batteries from all this equipment.  The state should maintain some sort of balance of gas, electric and battery equipment.  Not excluding gas altogether.
