Subject | This is an outrageous bill |
Comment | I am shocked the state of California wants to imprison people for up to six months for under inflated tires. I find this shocking when the state is about to release 40,000 felons and were going to imprison people over tire pressure? I would like to know where the thousands of people will be jailed for this offense and if the $1,000 fine will go to cover the costs of the incarceration. I also am dissapointed to know there are such stiff penalties for a bill that may, in the best case scenario, only improve the air quality by .5%. If the board wants to improve air quality, I think it would be more prudent ro address issues which will have a greater impact. If this is the best the panel can come up with to improve air quality, maybe the panel should step down and allow more reasonable people recommend more effective measures to address the air quality issues. |
