Thank you for considering this ban. Here in Palo Alto and Los
Altos, gas powered leaf blowers are banned but the landscapers
continue to use them. It is difficult for these workers to stop
this unhealthy practice when the nearby cities still allow them. 

When you weigh the benefit of having fewer leaves on the ground
against the health of the workers, the increased carbon footprint,
and the dust, dirt and mold thrown into the air, I am sure  you
will see that we would all be better off without the gas powered
leaf blowers.

However it is only when a regional ban is in place that the
gardeners will replace their equipment and adjust their prices for
service accordingly.
