To the Carb Board,

Please don’t allow the Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) Program to
backslide by giving up 90% of the ZEVs promised by automakers and
settling for only 2,500 vehicles from 2012-2014.  If you vote this
in you will also not only hurt the environment but will make us
more dependent on oil.  

Up here in Washington State gas just went to $3.50 a gallon.  Its
time to get out of the oil companies back pocket and do the right
thing.  What about our children and their children.  This vote
will effect them also.  So please vote to save our environment and
your children.  You will also help the automakers by doing this to.
   I do not want to buy a chinese Electric vehicle, but they are
coming. So with your vote you can make the automakers of America
build electric vehicles once again.  So take a chance on your
children and the environment. 

  We need ZEVs, and we also need plug-in hybrids. More options for
consumers mean cleaner air for everyone. I ask you to (1) re-commit
to the full 25,000 ZEVs the automakers promised, (2) create a
separate requirement for plug-in hybrids that lets them replace
dirtier vehicles, and (3) provide incentives for plug-in hybrids
that have the most on-board electricity storage.

So now look up here in Washington at what I have done in 6 months.

think of the outcome if you vote to keep the standards high.  

John F. Kennedy once said:  Let us resolve to be masters, not the
victims, of our history, controlling our own destiny without
giving way to blind suspicions and emotions.

You all have the future of America in your hands.  Please don't
let this opportunity  pass you all by.
