Please do not dilute agenda item 08-3-5.  The technology is
available now.  As an example, DeWalt lithium 36V batteries for
power tools.  These types of batteries can be used now.  See "you
Tube, electric bicycles".  A man is using these to power an
electric bike, and gets good mileage.  If it can be done by an
individual, it can be done by a corporation.

Back in the 1950's we let Japan kick our backside using
transistors because major manufacturers didn't want to retool. 
Japan flooded the market with radios using our technology we
invented and forced us to go to the new technology anyway.

California should stick to its guns and force manufacturers to
provide ZEVs as originally dictated or higher.

It's time for us little guys to get a break in the high cost of
transportation without having to wait all day for a bus or
trolley.
