Please don't reduce the number of ZEV's required by automakers. 
It's the only way we'll make our state (and country, and planet)
less dependent on oil, and reduce our carbon emissions.  Recent
research indicates that the need to eliminate gas-powered vehicles
is more critical than originally thought.  The automakers will not
make that move themselves -- they will only respond to government
regulation and consumer interest.  I'm doing my part, as a
consumer, to encourage their environmental responsibility.  Please
do your part as well.
