| Comment | I write in support of increasing the number of Zero Emission Vehicles required from major auto manufacturers. Vehicles currently in production, such as the Tesla Roadster, the Smart ForTwo, and others, demonstrate that electric ZEVs with usable ranges are well within the reach of current technology. They may start out somewhat expensive, but consumer desire is already present, and forcing production to scale up will lead to decreasing prices and improvements in supporting technologies.
