Emily, Thank you for organizing this informative workshop. We believe this topic is deserving of additional consideration. For future workshops, we would be happy to provide perspective from the clean transportation technology industry. One strategy we would like the state to consider is investing in a significant public awareness and education campaign related to zero emission vehicles. As some noted during the panel, the level of awareness of these vehicles and their benefits is still low. State funding, along the lines of $5 million/year for five years could do a lot to change that situation. That amount of money would represent a small percentage of the over-all investment to reduce GHG's from the light-duty vehicle market. John Boesel President and CEO CALSTART
