Dear CARB Leadership: I am urging you to expedite putting the consent decree with VW into action through its subsidiary Electrify America as soon as possible. This will be critically important to the expansion of electric vehicle charging infrastructure throughout the state. In particular, I am supporting the importance of Electrify America investing in Carson, California. I purchased my home in Carson in 1972. As an active civic minded individual, I have joined with my neighbors to support other projects that enhance and improve our city and neighborhoods. As more and more homeowners install solar panels and explore the purchase of energy efficient vehicles, it is ever more important that the infrastructure be in place to encourage expansion of efforts to save our planet and environment for the future. As resources diminish we must conserve where and when we can. This is a wonderful opportunity for Carson, California and our citizens.
