I live in Napa County and believe that strengthening the following measures will have the largest impact on our ability to slow climate change: --Energy efficiency of existing buildings. Update building codes and require that existing buildings be updated on sale. --Integrating Zero Emission Vehicles into local-haul (short distance) freight companies. Offer incentives and grants to encourage this. --Land use policies that require maintenance of carbon sequestration. --Integrate SLCP Strategy recommendations in all aspects of the scoping plan.
