Subject: State Coastal Conservancy comment on Draft Third Investment Plan
Comment:
The California State Coastal Conservancy appreciates the opportunity to comment on the Draft Third Investment Plan for California Climate Investments. Our Climate Ready program supports multi-benefit projects that use natural systems to assist communities in adapting to the impacts of climate change. We suggest adding icons on page 30 to reflect this. Specifically, Climate Ready California Climate Investments will provide Additional Benefits in the "Natural Resources" and "Agriculture" funding priorities. Thank you for your ongoing efforts to meet our climate goals. We look forward to continuing to work with the Air Resources Board to support projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and protect communities throughout our coast.
