Comment:
Regarding the proposed settlement I object to the money going to
Central California and the cows "farts". That is ridiculous! The
money should come back to the community. It can be sued for Solar,
air filtration for the home and schools. I know the filters for
air filters cost me a fortune that I cannot change them as I should
I just vacuum out the dirt but I really need new filters every
three months and for 4 filters which comes to about $1,000.With
the Asthma that I have from living here for 44 years. You can
take that money put great air filtrations in the schools and the
homes of the people that are suffering. And step up on the Health
it should be $50,000 not $25,000 but that is better than none but
we need more for a true Health Study. and the best fence line
system we can get and it should stay intact for a few years after
the closing of Aliso Canyon as so much is concentrated in the
ground. I have lived here in Porter Ranch about a mile for the
well that blew and my children, grandchildren and myself and my
husband have suffered over the years but since the blowout things
in our health is much worse my asthma, my eyes, loss of hair, etc.
That money from this proposed Settlement needs to come back to our
community. Help me pay for my solar which we installed after the
blow out. Had to resurface my pool, paint my house, it still is in
my house in my furniture and floorings. I did not get a deep
cleaning as we did not move out so SoCalGas denied me as well as a
air filter for my son who is disabled at his apartment across the
street from the 91344 zip code and they still smelled the blow
out.
Do what is right for once as the CPUC and DOGER do not seem to care
about our health.
Put that money where it counts in the community, raise the Health
study money, filter our homes and schools, solar our community
Thank you
The Capra Family, and grandchildren (who had to spend that
Christmas inside my house as it smelled so bad and we were all
getting bloody noses) They could not come to my house for almost 6
months with that blowout.
