Our business, Solar Works, is a California Certified Green Business, recognized by the County of Sonoma. We appreciate the technical assistance we received from our local Green Business Program for certification. It's important to our 32-year-old solar installation business to conserve water, use green-produced electricity, recycle as much as possible, and use non-toxic materials whenever possible. It is our mandate to do what we (and our customers) can do to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and benefit our local community and economy. As a small, long-established local business, we would love to have additional assistance and rebates. We are proud to be part of the California Green Business Program and recommend it to many small businesses to increase their impact. We encourage your Board, the Governor’s office, and the State legislature to include a small business component in your investment plan. Thank you.
