Please DO NOT treat all types of habitat the same for the purposes of fire suppression. Coastal sage scrub and chaparral must be handled differently from forests and cannot be regularly burned without destroying the ecosystem and native plant community. Thanks for considering the science on this and not rushing to burn everything wild. Regards, Mark Jenne
