Subject: Vegetation removal in coastal areas or any of california.
Comment:
I believe Cal fire along with PG&E has devastated so much of
california. Preventing fires is impossible. My example is my cabin
on airport Road in markleyville california. For many many years but
BLM in Carson City has been managing the small track of land they
hold in the state of california. Krutz lake and Summit lake are
part of the beauty of this area and we're harshly managed
especially in the past 5 years or 10 years. Then last year it all
burned regardless of the many years of government money wasted on
management. I have seen extensive cutting and riparian areas
devastating the amphibian populations. We have to stop. And stop
now we are just supporting these municipalities that do not base
their decisions on science. And in addition, base their decisions
on budget. I am very opposed to any action taken for fire
prevention in the future it's a waste of resources and a waste of
time and a waste of State money Federal money and local money.
