Subject: scenarios need to include benefits of wood products and risk of forest carbon saturation
Comment:
In line with current IPCC technical guidance, the full life cycle storage and emissions of wood products needs to be included, as well as the risks of carbon saturation and carbon loss to wildfires need to be included in all scenarios. Only counting increases carbon stocks in forests will provide an incorrect view under IPCC accounting principles.
