Please find attached our comment letter on the Climate Pillars Symposium on Natural and Working Landscapes. Sierra Forest Legacy is a coalition of over 80 conservation organizations focused on science-based management of public lands in the Sierra Nevada. Of particular importance is the utilization of fire to enhance forest resilience, carbon stability and to minimize smoke impacts on public health by limiting emissions from large, uncharacteristic wildfire.
