Subject: Portable generators and diesel motorhomes

I have read that CARB wants to outlaw the sale of portable generators. I am against this as long as we have electric grid issues and wildfire power shut offs. I think it is irresponsible to leave people with zero means of keeping medical units and refrigerators working. Even in Southern California in a very minorly rural area we have had our power out for over 3 days at a time due to wildfires. Diesel motorhomes. I have read that CARB wants to require smog tests on diesel motorhomes. Most motorhomes are driven well under 5000 miles per year with much of that out of the state. I fell like this is just a money making proposal that will have negligible benefits.
