As someone working to increase EV adoption in the Bay Area, I particularly appreciate the continued funding (35% of proposed Cycle 2 investments) for low-income and disadvantaged communities. Other appealing aspects of the proposed Cycle 2 plan include the stated support for residential charging, for instance in the strategic placement of DC Fast Charging stations to accommodate retail and nearby multifamily dwellings, and the proposed actions to simplify home charging through integration with CARB's "one-stop-shop" and create new financing opportunities and financial rewards for demand response systems. I hope that Electrify America will continue to partner with local governments, community organizations, and property owners as they bring more critical investment to support EVs our State.
