Subject: EVSE Industry Letter Supporting ZEV Investment Commitment

Mark, On behalf of the undersigned companies, please see the attached letter supporting implementation of the California ZEV Investment Commitment pursuant to Appendix C of the VW settlement decree. The companies believe that these investments represent a unique opportunity to accelerate the EV market in California, which will create jobs and economic opportunity, help California achieve its climate mitigation goals, and protect the health of disadvantaged communities. As you will see in the letter, the companies are concerned that the full perspective of the EV charging industry has not been well communicated to policy makers so far on this issue. This letter is intended to signal clear support for this effort and the importance of acting swiftly. Finally, we appreciate that this is being submitted prior to the formal public comment period on the initial investment plan. The companies may submit further comments under that process.
