Subject: "Public Education" plans don't mention educators or students. Why?

ArtCenter College of Design (artcenter.edu) appreciates the efforts to keep the public informed about the draft California ZEV Investment Plan. Our main comment on the current draft plan is that the "Public Education" section (2.2.3) contains no mention of actual education. It focuses on communications plans but neither suggests the involvement of educators or students nor mentions an educational principle behind what is to be communicated. As we have previously mentioned, California's higher education sector is rich with expertise in advertising/visual communication and sustainable automotive technology/design. We urge VW to invite talented faculty and students to be part of the solution and would be honored to participate.
