Thank you for CARBs work and for California being a leader on climate change! I would like to suggest that CARB undertake a more comprehensive analysis and comparison of a carbon tax, as a carbon tax is an EVEN BETTER way to confront climate change than cap and trade can hope to be. I believe this is true because carbon fee will create: ~ A more predictable price on carbon ~ a system that can be more easily upscaled to other states and nations ~ Less uncertainty for businesses ~ Greater financial advantage for the majority of consumers |
