I do not want biomethane or anything stored at the Aliso Canyon facility. The facility leaks constantly and needs to be shut down. The money from the settlement should be used for environmentally friendly projects in the LA county area, near Porter Ranch where this disaster happened and continues to leak daily. SoCal Gas should not be given any money for their projects, they should only pay the fines. SoCal Gas should not be allowed to put anything into the Aliso Canyon storage facility, whether it is methane or biomethane. The facility is constantly leaking and causing bad health effects for people who live in the area, as well as children and teachers who attend the local schools. |
