Over the last year I have driven 25,000 zero emission miles in my Toyota Mirai, while TDI owners continued to pollute the air. I am asthmatic and an committed to driving a vehicle that doesn't kill other asthmatics. I am extremely disappointed to see no funding from the settlement with VW who has been polluting the air for years when I have been trying to keep it clean. I live in Lake Elsinore and my nearest station is 30 miles away in San Juan Capistrano. I really need a station near me so I can continue to drive without polluting the air and you can't allocate $2.5M from the $800 million for the residents of southwest Riverside county? This is extremely disappointing. |
