Dear Legislators I am proposing strongly for the CA legislators to include Veganism/Vegetarianism and Organic Farming to tackle climate change. As all evidence show, livestock industry contributes at least 18% of greenhouse gas emissions and scientists have showed that veganism/vegetarianism can halt at least 80% of carbon emissions. Please refer to the report "Livestock's Long Shadows" by the UN. As global warming is now an urgent threat to the whole globe, I am encouraging the CA legislators to look at the above suggestions seriously. Your courageous decisions can save billions of people in this century. |
