The IPCC has prioritized methane reductions as the lowest cost, most effective way to make the most reduction in the 2050 global temperature, yet the CARB scoping plan has not prioritized methane reductions. One of the things CARB could do is to value methane at its 20-year value, which is the approximate life of this Scoping Plan. A value of 82 would properly value them and thus automatically prioritize methane reductions as the IPCC has requested. Thanks, Jim Stewart, PhD |
