Subject | New Zero NOX, PM and CO2 emission products using RNG soon |
Comment |
Over the next 6 months, there will be new zero emission products in the transportation and stationary generator market that can run Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) that are low risk, already in production, and are affordable solutions, the same cost as diesel solutions. There are many transportation modalities such as Class 5 to 8 trucks, rail and marine that require to store large amounts of fuel onboard due to operation requirements. Other diesel, the only other fuel that can store large amounts of fuel is natural gas and RNG. Currently, there are already Class 5 to 8 trucks using RNG producing near-zero and ZERO NOx and PM emissions that are CO2 carbon neutral or negative. In the next month, one company will be announcing freight and passenger rail locomotives that will use RNG, producing zero NOx and PM emissions and CO2 carbon emissions that are neutral or negative. All of the products can be refueling using existing natural gas pipelines. The cost of these locomotives will be the same as diesel. Larger sea-going ships market is already converting to natural gas. In the next 3 months, commercial companies will be announcing marine power solutions for the inland, coastal and harbor craft market up to 6,000 hp that will use RNG, producing zero NOx and PM emissions and CO2 carbon emissions that are neutral or negative. All of the products can be refueling using existing natural gas pipelines. Outside of the transportation market, new 250 kW to 2 mW microgrid generator will be announced by commercial companies in the next 2 months that can use RNG, producing zero NOx and PM emissions and CO2 carbon emissions that are neutral or negative. |
