Please review the following recent study regarding the emissions of greenhouse gases from wildfires in California funded by The Forest Foundation of Auburn, CA. It provides compelling evidence of the need to engage aggressive forest management practices of thinning to reduce the virulence of wildfires as well as woody biomass salvaging and forest replanting to reverse their net GHG emissions impact. |
