Support Alternative 2 of the Advanced Clean Fleets Regulation. This year too many oil wells had leaked in EJ Communities. We need direct measurement of GHG emissions by third parties. This could improve the timeliness of the emissions inventories, so we can see if the new legislation is really bringing improvements and what needs improvement the most. The potential of new organic farming techniques to better sequester carbon was omitted from the current model. Also, the emissions of logging are not accounted for in Biomass. Widespread logging does not reduce fires because it allows more short bushes to grow. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change does not treat biomass energy as carbon neutral. |
