arbcombo -- Low Carbon Fuel Standard Presentation for March 17, 2017 Working Meeting to Discuss Potentially Including Alternative Jet Fuel in the LCFS Posted: 13 Mar 2017 11:05:42
The California Air Resources Board (ARB) staff has posted the staff presentation for the Low Carbon Fuel Standard Working Meeting on March 17, 2017, that will focus on potentially including alternative jet fuel in the LCFS. The presentation can be found at: http://www.arb.ca.gov/fuels/lcfs/lcfs_meetings/lcfs_meetings.htm. If you have questions about the workshop, please contact Sam Wade, Branch Chief, Transportation Fuels Branch, at (916) 322-8263 or via email at Samuel.Wade@arb.ca.gov, or James Duffy, Manager, Alternative Fuels Section, at (916) 323-0015 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. The LCFS, a regulation to reduce the carbon intensity of fuels sold in California ten percent by 2020, is one of the measures adopted by ARB, pursuant to Health and Safety Code Sections 38500-38599 (AB 32) to reduce California’s greenhouse gas emissions. It is designed to help clean the air, protect the environment, and drive the development of clean, low-carbon fuels. California is in a drought emergency.
