Please see the attached link to the press release regarding the
sad and unexpected passing of Professor Alex Farrell. 

Professor Farrell was a shining light for the development of the
low carbon fuel standard here in California and elsewhere.  He
was a good friend and a tremendous help to many of us over the
years.  He dedicated his time and energy selflessly to his
friends, students, and all of society.  The Air Resources Board
staff will miss him greatly, both professionally and personally.
