Reporting California Vehicle and Engine Production Numbers for Assissing Annual Certification Fees for Fiscal-Year 2007-2008 (FY07/08). Manufacturers of on-road vehicles and engines are required to pay an annual certification fees based on the numbers of vehicles and engines they produced for sale in California. In Mail-Out MSO# 08-04, manufacturers are requested to provide their production numbers for the 2006 calendar-year and model-year to enable the Air Resources Board to determine their certification fees for the 2007-2008 fiscal-year. Please download and use the attached files for reporting the production numbers and for providing your company's contact information for invoice purposes.
