Heavy-Duty Vehicle Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction Measure (SmartWay(SM)) materials are now available. The California Air Resources Board has posted Draft Regulatory Language and the Workshop Presentation for upcoming workshops scheduled for May and June. The proposed AB 32 Heavy-Duty Vehicle Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction Measure is being developed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by requiring long-haul tractors and 53-foot box-type trailers to be equipped with technologies that reduce aerodynamic drag and rolling resistance.
