ordiesel -- Off-Road Regulation Training August 29 to be Webcast

For the fleets that are unable to attend one of the twelve free statewide training seminars on the off-road regulation, the ARB will be webcasting the Sacramento session on August 29. The training will be held on Friday, August 29, 2009, in Sacramento from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Information regarding the webcast is at www.calepa.ca.gov/broadcast/?BDO=1. Staff have completed seven of the twelve planned free training seminars, and the seminars have been well-received. Further information regarding the upcoming training sessions, including the PowerPoint presentation, can be found at www.arb.ca.gov/msprog/ordiesel/meetings.htm. Interested stakeholders are encouraged to attend and may RSVP to Eric Brown at ebrown@arb.ca.gov. ARB staff are posting answers to frequently asked questions concerning the In-Use Off-road Diesel Vehicle regulation. To date, staff have posted answers to questions concerning off-road diesel vehicles that may require registration as portable equipment, labeling, early credit, determining engine model year, and public fleet size.
