The Enforcement Division has just posted a new Enforcement Advisory to remind the consumer products industry of the changes in the California Consumer Products regulation. Enforcement Advisory # 386, Consumer Products Regulations: 2009 Requirements discusses the newly effective changes in the volatile organic compound (VOC) standards as they apply to new or revised consumer product categories, the end of the sell-through periods for several product categories, and prohibitions on the use of methylene chloride, perchloroethylene, or trichloroethylenea in certain categories.
