arbcombo -- Verification of Johnson Matthey CRT(+) DPF for Stationary Engines

This notice is to inform you of one new verification for stationary engines. The ARB has verified the Johnson Matthey CRT(+) diesel particulate filter (DPF) as a Level 3 Plus device for Tier 1, Tier 2, or Tier 3 certified off-road engines used in stationary prime and emergency standby generators. The CRT(+) DPF reduces diesel particulate matter by 85 percent or greater and does not increase nitrogen dioxide (NO2) emissions beyond the 2009 limit of 20 percent of the baseline oxides of nitrogen (NOx) emissions. In addition, the ARB has conditionally verified the CRT(+) DPF for use in stationary prime generators.
