harp -- The HARP Health Database has been updated
Posted: 26 Jan 2009 13:55:32
The HARP Health Database has been updated with the latest OEHHA noncancer Reference Exposure Levels (RELs) for six chemicals. You may download the January 2009 version of the health database at http://www.arb.ca.gov/toxics/harp/software/health.mdb . In order to use the new health database, you must replace the health database (health.mdb) under the HARP program directory (typically c:HARP) with this file. For more information on the changes to the HARP Health Database, please download the zip file at http://www.arb.ca.gov/toxics/harp/software/jan2009healthtablechanges.zip . For more information about the newly adopted RELs, please visit OEHHA’s website at http://www.oehha.ca.gov/air/hot_spots/rels_dec2008.html . Please note that the 8-hour RELs will not be in the current HARP database/program because of coding issues and implementation policy that will be clarified in the final OEHHA guidelines. These will be added to HARP in the future as HARP is revised to accommodate all changes to the OEHHA guidelines.
