The Air Resources Board will soon be releasing an advisory for a 2009 compliance extension that will affect public agency, utility, and solid waste collection dual or bi-fuel engines and all Group 3 engines with no verified diesel emission control strategy available for retrofitting under the Fleet Rule for Public Agencies & Utilities and Fleet Rule for Solid Waste Collection Vehicles. More information about the extension will be available in the advisory that will be released before March 15, 2009.
