arbcombo -- Public Comments Regarding the Technical Evaluation Document of Options to Reduce Locomotive and Railyard Emissions

On December 22, 2008 the staff of the Air Resources Board released a preliminary draft report titled “Technical Options to Achieve Additional Emissions and Risk Reductions from California Locomotives and Railyards.” This report evaluates 37 options to accelerate further statewide locomotive and localized railyard emission reductions of oxides of nitrogen (NOx) and diesel particulate matter (PM or diesel PM). ARB staff has received comments from interested stakeholders with regard to this document and has posted the comments received to date on our website.
