ARB's website for the Providing Loan Assistance for California
Equipment (PLACE) Program for on-road heavy-duty vehicles has
been updated with new information. Please go to
http://www.arb.ca.gov/ba/loan/on-road/on-road.htm to view the
updated information.  The PLACE Program for on-road heavy-duty
vehicles offers financial assistance to smaller trucking fleets
affected by the ARB's Statewide In-Use Truck and Bus Regulation
and the Heavy-Duty Vehicle Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction
Regulation, which the Board adopted in December 2008.

The updated information includes answers to "Frequently Asked
Questions" regarding applicant eligibility requirements, the
process for obtaining a loan through the PLACE Program, and
general information on the type of vehicles and equipment
eligible for purchase with loan proceeds.
