The staff at the California Air Resources Board (ARB/Board) will
hold the first public meeting of the LCFS Sustainability
Workgroup at Cal/EPA headquarters, Training Room 2, in
Sacramento, California, from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm on March 24,
2010.   

When the Air Resources Board (ARB or Board) approved the Low
Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) on April 23, 2009, the Board directed
staff to work with the Interagency Forest Work Group (IFWG),
appropriate state agencies, environmental advocates, regulated
parties, and other interested stakeholders to develop feasible
and appropriate sustainability provisions for the LCFS program,
and to bring recommendations to the Board by no later than
December 2011.
