Notice for the Consumer Products Public Workshop. The staff of the California Air Resources Board (ARB/Board) invites you to participate in a public workshop to discuss proposed amendments to California’s consumer products regulations. You may attend the public workshop in person or participate via teleconference. The workshop will be held on Tuesday, April 13, 2010, beginning at 9:00 a.m. (PDT), at 1927 13th Street, Sacramento, CA 95812. The information to participate via teleconference is included on the workshop notice. The notice announcing the workshop can be found at: http://www.arb.ca.gov/consprod/whatsnew.htm. At this workshop, we will discuss staff’s proposed new or modified definitions, other regulatory language modifications, proposed new or modified volatile organic compound limits, proposed limitations on use of specific toxic compounds, and proposed changes to ARB Test Method 310. We will also discuss potential mitigation measures to ensure greenhouse gas emissions do not increase as a result of a reformulation. In addition, we will present for discussion, product labeling concepts. Materials for this workshop will be posted to our program website prior to the workshop at the following address: http://www.arb.ca.gov/consprod/whatsnew.htm.
