arbcombo -- Time Sensitive; Additional GHG Verifier Accreditation Training will be offered in May 2010

Due to continuing interest and requests, the Air Resources Board (ARB) is offering two additional training sessions for individuals interested in being accredited as a verifier of greenhouse gas emissions data reports. ARB training sessions are scheduled for May 3 through May 7, 2010, and June 7 through June 11, 2010, in Sacramento. Space is extremely limited; there are just 50 spots available. The cost for the five day training course is $2700. If you intend to take the training, please send us an email at ghgverify@arb.ca.gov by April 14th and indicate which training session you are interested in attending so that we may prioritize invitations for the training. If you have not already submitted a prescreening verifier accreditation application, please find the prescreening application here: http://www.arb.ca.gov/cc/reporting/ghg-ver/a_form_v2.doc. You will not be allowed to register for training until ARB approves your prescreening application and invites you to register. ARB will prioritize attendance for lead verifiers, especially those employed by companies that need a second verifier to become an ARB Accredited Verification Body, or companies that send in applications for two lead verifiers. Accreditation is only required for those individuals and companies who plan on completing independent third-party verifications for ARB’s Mandatory GHG Reporting Regulation. Anyone who wishes to only provide consulting to facility operators and companies is not required to be ARB accredited and may take a separate, non-accreditation course from Future Perfect.
