groundbreaking Tuesday on the Alta Wind Energy Center in Mojave,
about 60 miles northeast of Los Angeles. Dozens of wind turbines

GAS PUMPS

State: 1/3 Of Gas-Pump Clips May Leak Fuel. Sacramento (KABC) --
Many people use the locking clip on the gas pump while fueling
their vehicles so the nozzle doesn't need to be continuously
held. State lawmakers say "no more," and want to do away with

TIRE INFLATION

Revised CARB Inflation Rules Still Set for September. The
California Air Resources Board has resubmitted final rules that
will force California repair shops to check and reinflate tires
on customer vehicles. The Regulation to Reduce Greenhouse Gas
Emissions from Vehicles Operating with Underinflated Tires takes
effect on Sept. 1. The resubmittal featured minor changes from

Port Trucks Test The Limits of Emission Rules. Oakland, CA –
While more than a thousand Oakland port trucks were replaced with

Navistar Says SCR Systems Can Be Defeated. Navistar Inc.
