The Air Resources Board (ARB) has verified the Johnson Matthey reformulated CRT™ Particulate Filter system as a Level 3 diesel emission control system for use with specific 1994 through 2006 model year on-road diesel engines. The reformulated CRT™ Particulate Filter system uses a diesel oxidation catalyst and a wall-flow filter with a back pressure monitor to achieve an 85 percent reduction in particulate matter emissions. Specific conditions for which the reformulated CRT™ Particulate Filter system has been approved may be found in the Executive Orders which will be posted within 10 days on the ARB website at http://www.arb.ca.gov/diesel/verdev/verdev.htm .
